Hi Mike,
Exchange 2010 definitely has a good archiving feature tagged along with Outllok 2010.

Office 2010 is still on technical preview and I am not quite sure whether Microsoft would have decided on the licesing and the SKU now itself for it. Office 2010 will only reach its beta stage in November 2009.

As of now the only changes that i am aware of are that groove is renamed as Sharepoint Workspace and a new version of Business Contact Manager is coming up for Outlook 2010.

Let me post you the details as soon as i get them :)

PS: Sorry for teh delayed reply

We are looking at exchange 2010 - partly for the archiving function. exchange 2010 supports downlevel cleints e.g. Outlook 2007 but has poor support for the archiving feature.... we have been told that we will not be able to buy Outlook 2010 as a separate sku which would mean that we have to upgrade office to leverage that functionality..... thoughts?
